Extra curricular activities like NCC, Scouts and Guides, National Service Scheme (NSS), Junior Red Cross, Little Kites and Work Experience are given importance. Students have excelled in the Work Experience Festivals for many years.
School also has a Judo Training Centre to teach the Martial Art to both boys and girls to increase their Self Confidence. Boys and girls from outside School are also allowed.
Different Clubs like Forestry Club, National Green Army (Harithasena), Bio Diversity Club,Dairy Club, Seed Club, Smart Energy Programme (SEP}, Environment Club, Health Club, Mountaineering Club, Music Club and Cycle Club are active in the School. There are Subject based Clubs too.
The School is keeping high Standards in Sports and Art related activities and have won many prizes in Inter-school Competition both at District and State Levels. The School is in the process of starting “Kalakshethra” to identify talented students and train them in different Art Forms.
Vidyavanam Scheme, started by the Government to bring children close to nature is going on. There is a Medicinal Garden in the School with many Medicinal Plants cared by students.
The Seed Club Members were able to win many Awards for the School for their different Green Activities.
The School also has a Career Guidance Centre to advice students and enable them to plan their future.
Work is initiated to start a Radio Club in order to bring out the talents of the students.
Yoga classes are available here that nurture the mental and physical health of children.
